External subtitles not working on Xbox One VLC
Dear Team,
I've recently experiencing this issue: external subtitles are not recognized by VLC for Xbox One. I have the latest update installed.
Environment details:
- Xbox One
- Wired connection
- all content on Synology DS216j upnp share
- formats used: h.264, mkv, srt, sub
- tried with different subtitle character encoding.
- always renaming subtitles to the exact same name as the video file
At this point i'm not quite sure, but as i remember this feature has worked in the past.
