Converting file to another format when loop is switched on freezes/crashes the UI

I tried to extract audio track in MP3 format from MP4 video (using VLC UI application). Extraction finished without problem, but after that VLC was no longer responding - sometimes, it remained frozen (not reacting to input, though titlebar was flashing). Sometimes, it crashed after few seconds. After several attempts, I noticed that I have Loop button toggled to Loop All. Unchecking this button fixed the problem.
