QT does not allow seeking when only DEMUX_GET_TIME is implemented for a module. Should fallback to DEMUX_GET_POSITION

for mp3 content the seekbar will not snap to the area you move it to. also mp4 or 3gp vod content on a DSS server that was seekable in 0.8.6 no longer is in 0.9

Perhaps related to seek issue in #1719 (closed) (mp4 files take too long, b_seek=0) or #1662 (closed) (seeking too far for FLV live).

Assigned to Qt for now. According to thedj the 3gp on DSS vod did work on OS X for seeking (not for me on win32). When there is no "current time" you could still seek on OS X to a position between 0 and 1 (EOF) but this would hopefully be fixed with NPT support for streaming.

It could be qt4 intf isn't able to handle this smart enough on its own?
