the positioning of the video on the X and Ycoordinates does not work in UBUNTU

I need to automatically launch the video in full screen on the second monitor. In windows system, everything works without problems. In the Ubuntu system, this function will not work. I can not display the video on a second monitor automatically each time i have to drag the window with the mouse. If I install VLC player for windows system by Wine application, everything works. What could be the problem?
