RC broken with Lua 5.3

With Lua 5.3 run-time, the Lua RC interface fails to start due to some Lua error. Unless VLC is reverted back to earlier Lua version, this is a regression. It's also a major impediment to debugging/development as RC is often the best here (Qt leaks, is slow and has weird bugs of its own).
