VLSub hangs without internet access

I have VLC 2.2.1 with VLSub 0.9.13 on Debian Linux.

When i have no internet connection and go to the VLSub config dialog and select another user interface language, click save, close dialog and then if i selct the View menu in VLC, VLC will freeze.

I don't know what the problem is, but i guess a extension/plugin should not be able to freeze VLC.

With internet connection it is possible to change the language and the freeze does not occur.
