Headphone Controls not working correctly

Hi, Up to 1.7.0 I had my one button remote wired headphones working on a Moto G 2nd. Starting from VLC 1.7.0 the possibility to skip forward and backwards disappeared (I never manage controlling volume but it was no issue to me). I tried other headphones makes and on a Philips Citiscape SHE7055BK/00 the play/pause works, the skip forward/backwards does not; I tried also a Senheiser CX275s, with exactly the same results.

Using other androids apps like Bubble UpnP, the remote button of both headphones works perfectly: play/pause, skip forward, skip backwards all working.

Is there any change that reducing the amount of authorizations requested by VLC 1.7.x has been taking away the capability of controlling the player through the headphones remote? Thank you for your great work anyway.
