ProjectM with VLC on OS X

I spoke to feepk who stated that ProjectM is not ported to OS X. It would be great if we could have ProjectM/Milkdrop added to VLC natively so it doesn't require a plugin to be compiled at all. I am submitting this feature for VLC 3.0 per feepk request.
