atmos + mac + reciever = skipping/broken sound

nobody seems to reported it.

Any movie with this in the movie name "TrueHD.7.1.Atmos" does not play audio while connected to receiver.

Normally with DTS-HD the receiver shows DTS and its working in pass trough as it should be.

When playing atmos, this happens: it plays without audio for 6 seconds and then 0.5s with audio. Then again 6s silence and 0,5s with sound.

The movies are OK, I have tried many of them and it is working with kodi player.

My receiver does not support atmos, but it should still play it like truehd, which it supports.

HW: Macbook air 2012 latest OSX, latest VLC connected to Marantz NR 1403 via HDMI with thunderbird to HDMI connector
