VLC for Android doesn't shows a 3 vertical dots for files with non-standard extensions in Directories view mode

Each multimedia file in the lists had a 3 vertical dots in the right top corner to show a popup menu. But files with non-standard extensions have no the 3 vertical dots. Due to this it is impossible to use "Play as audio" menu item and play these (video) files as audio without video.
