Crash on opening almost any file

Most files on my device, added through the drag-and-drop web interface, will crash the app when I try to open them. It will freeze on the file list for one or two seconds, then poof, no more VLC. It has happened with all types of files on my device (mp3, wav, and FLAC). If I delete and re-upload an infected file, then it will work. If I open an uninfected file, then I can skip forward to otherwise unplayable songs with no problems. It seems to only happen in the tile view, and I can use the list view with no problems (yet.) I don't think this issue was caused by an update, it just started happening one day.
