Bug Report: File Associations Button Causing App Crash - VLC 2.2.0 - x64

When attempting to change file associations - Menu: Tools \ Preferences - 'Set up Associations' button - VLC consistently crashes on my machine. I re-launched VLC, then re-installed. No issues with install.

Additionally, this OS install is under 60 days old, this is the first time VLC has been installed. Windows Media 8.1 is only other Video Player on the system.

Windows 8.1 ( Win32NT 6.3.9600.0 Microsoft Windows NT 6.3.9600.0)
