Unable to register active X VLC 2.2.0 plugins with Visual Studio 2013

When trying to add a VLC Active X plugin to new winforms project created in Visual Studio 2013 receive an error: "Failed to import the Active X control. Please ensure it is properly registered" VLC version is 2.2.0

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
