Songs not playing well.

I downloaded some songs from youtube through the Internet Download Manager but VLC Media Player 2.1.5 was unable to play it well. Then, I downloaded VLC Media Player 2.2.0 but this also was unable to play it well. Please rectify this defect. Thankyou
