Physical menu button causes VLC to crash on Android

Greetings!

I've been following the VLC Nightly builds on my Android phone for a good few months now, but I've only tonight updated to the latest build where the new Material Design layout is used.

My phone has a physical menu button, and prior to the UI change, pressing the menu button would show a menu with options like "Refresh", "Equalizer", "Preferences", and "About". Since the UI change, pressing this simply causes VLC to crash.

Android 4.1.2 LG AS870 (LG Optimus F5, basically the same as the LG VS870)

I'd attach a crash log but I can't seem to find one... or there's been a change as to where they're written.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
