Non-existent library directory will break VLC

Some people including WinBeta author ;) suffers from crashing in seconds.

At least some of them seem to come from non-existent directory issue.

Here is a solution.

  1. Double-click a video file to play it on VLC

  2. Go to settings via charms bar (You may even not be able to access settings screen because of crashing. Step 1 will be a good workaround.)

  3. Click "Add a new folder" buttons.

  4. Just close the file pickers.

  5. Check library directiories.

  6. Delete all non-existent directiories. This may include OneDrive\Music or SkyDrive\Music.

  7. Reboot VLC.

  8. Check if VLC still goes off in seconds.

I did confirm this issue in three of my machines and this method worked on all of them. However, I couldn't "reproduce" this issue in same machine as I cannot download 0.1.0 anymore. I tried uninstalling VLC to reinstall it for reproducing, but it seems it's rollbacked.
