Bug with media files associations!

In VLC 2.1.3-2.1.4 for 32bit and for 64bit Windows (7,8,8.1) everything is fine when going to tools>preferences>interface>Set up associations and make some adjustments BUT in version 2.1.5 of VLC player for windows 64 bit, I can't to do the same operation! Player crashes
