Snapshot broken

Whenever I try to save a snapshot to a directory, VLC seems to export the file but it doesn’t save an image. This only happens with the QT4 interface from what I can tell so far.

In the FastStone Image Viewer program that I use, it just shows a red X instead of the image, and using thumb-nails shows that there is a file, but still no image.
