Stuttering Playback (MPEG2-TS Transport Stream)

Hi!

When displaying MPEG2-TS material (live or recorded) the video stutters from time to time. The delay between two such freezes is different from channel to channel. An extreme example is attached, where I notice a tiny freeze about twice per second in this video.

With mplayer I do not notice this problem.

I tested on two PCs, one with Linux/VLC nightly (Debian), the other Windows Vista/VLC 0.8.6a.

PS: The problem might be the stream itself, because the application streaming it (demuxing the transponder) had some problems in the past.
