video orientation
I took a short video with my IPhone 4s. While taking the video, I held the phone in the upright, not sideways position. When I view the video on the phone it is in proper orientation. I emailed the video to myself. The preferences on my MacBook Pro are set to use VLC Video Player as my default video player. When I viewed the video using VLC on my MacBook, the video was rotated 90 degrees to the right. If I view the same video file with QuickTime or Flip for Mac video players, it plays in proper orientation. I have been unable to rotate the video, using VLC, to its proper orientation as I do not have a tools menu when using VLC. I saw nothing about this in the FAQ's nor was I able to use information found on the Web[[Image()]] since there is no tools menu when I play the video using VLC.
