VLC for windows 8 (Metro) - Microsoft Store App

I have two computers that cannot run this app. Both apps crash within a few seconds of opening. Both systems are running windows 8.1.

System1 is a window touch tablet with the library on an removable SD card due to small primary hard drive.

System2 is a 4 year old Laptop with the library pointing to the secondary partitioned d: drive. Contains one one hard drive: Samsumg SSD.

I really can't send you much else since the app crashes almost immediately. Just thought I'd let you know what I've found.

thank you for all your work in trying to get the Metro app going. I know it's been a long road but one I believe worth embarking upon. Thanks again.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
