Cannot Play video with Speex audio encoded

When trying to record in XSplit Broadcaster (the free version) the 'Local Recording' Settings are X.264 (Standard Quality) Speex (42.2kbps 16 KHz mono) im able to view and scroll through the video but unable to hear the audio
