vlc interface totally off screen

on atleast one occasion, i was using vlc on a single display system, and it was completely off the screen. i use undocked playlist which i drag/dropped a video and played, the vlc main window came partially into view.

there's a need to keep the interfaces [vlc/undocked playlist/etc] into view when starting a new instance of vlc.
