Video shrink when loop set as wallpaper

I open a video with vlc 2.1.2
Video -> Set as wallpaper
Loop mode
At the end: it repeat but resized at its original resolution on the screen. (for exemple if I test with a 1080p video it will stay full screen because my screen is fullHD, but if I test with 360p video, it will become small)

It worke fine on v2.0.8 of vlc

config : win 7 pro x64 , Nvidia 670m
