UPnP DLNA System with MediaMonkey as server and VLC as client NOT working

Problem to fix: UPnP DLNA System with MediaMonkey as server and VLC as client NOT working

Now, since about a year I would like to have a home entertainment system with MediaMonkey as a UPnP DLNA server and the VLC as its DLNA client. But with all the NEWEST available versions since almoust 1 Year I could never get it to work. (Tried MediaMonkey with Installer or with Portable Insallation, VLC with installer or Portable Installation - tried all possible configurations / constellations --> but still the same negative result, because I never got it to work). MediaMonkey as UPnP Server works together fine with WMP (client), also with other windows clients I installed, but never with VLC as client (tried every VLC version from 2.0.0 until 2.1.2; after VLC v2.0.8 it will crash immedeately anyhow). I tried on many totally new installed systems and also with different existing systems from WinXP-SP3, Win7-SP1 until Win8 - all with the same negative results. I invested hours and hours...

Because both MediaMonkey and VLC are VERY popular and very good (and VLC we can install on many different OS), this would be a fantastic combination for a top home entertainment system. I would like to install this fantastic combination for many customers.

1. Please fix VLC as soon as possible, so it will work fine as an UPnP Client on a MediaMonkey Server in a wired Ethernet home LAN (Home Router, i.e. TP-Link or Asus or Zyxel or D-Link, with its Firewall disabled). Many, many users would be thankfully.

2. Just in case: If anyone can make it to work properly with the already existing software versions, please let us know the details. Many users would be thankfully.
