VLC Crashes on non-SSE2 CPUs

I have been a user of VLC (happy user!) since you began VLC.

I just upgraded to your new version 2.1.2. Every time the program starts it crashes. If I get it to run, it crashes when I request a video. This has never happened before.

What have you changed or done to VLC that now prevents it from running?

I am using Windows XP-PRO w/SP3.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
