Subtitles shown at incorrect location

Summary

The plugin has trouble rendering subtitles at the correct position. This problem is not a new problem as it's been a problem for a long time. When I tested it in VLC 4.0.0 nightly (20250509-0430) it does render correctly but when using the plugin it doesn't. Also, sometimes part of the subtitles just disappear, I'm not sure if that's related to this issue.

Minimal project and steps to reproduce

Download and play this video: https://rdgonlag.stackstorage.com/s/cSNP0qEdgEiVF9n7 and make sure you enable the subtitle track. Testing with the VLCSubtitles demo scene is probably the easiest. The text "13th Orbital Bunker" will show on the left of the screen while it's supposed to be on the right.

Does it work on other plaforms? Does it work with the official VLC apps?

I only tested for the normal windows version of the plugin. It does work correctly on the official VLC 4.0.0 app.
