Audio view : An Album - Artist view is missing

On Android, in the Artist view, if you click on an Artist, you have an Album-Artist view where you see only the Albums of this Artist, sort by year or name...

It's a very useful missing feature.

this requires 1. switcher between album and songs within the artist view and 2. Adding section headers and is therefor a more invasive and time consuming change. 3.3 is the correct milestone

Alexandre's screenshots demonstrate one way to list the songs inside of albums, but it's not the only way to accomplish this. Having a list of songs sorted by album (even with pretty headers to show the dividing lines between albums) is not really the same thing as having hierarchical navigation as described in issue #747 (closed). The latter makes it much faster to navigate to a particular album when you're only scrolling past the names of the other albums by the same artist rather than scrolling past their potentially long lists of songs.

@divbyzero how is that different? In the Android screenshot, if you click on the album, you enter the list of songs from this album.

I believe you're talking about the same thing.
