Update SMB Protocol Support from SMBv1 to SMBv2/v3
VLC for iOS's SMB network protocol support needs updating to SMBv2/v3 to work with all recent Windows SMB file shares. The current SMBv1-only support prevents VLC for iOS from connecting to most new SMB file shares. Moreover, Microsoft strongly recommends removing SMBv1 from existing Windows systems...see https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/filecab/2016/09/16/stop-using-smb1.
SMBv1/CIFS has been deprecated for years and Microsoft and other vendors long ago moved on to SMBv2 and SMBv3 protocols, disabling SMBv1 on initial install and in OS updates. Recent Windows updates have disabled SMB1 on Windows Server 2008R2 and probably on newer OS versions (although I haven't checked them).
