VLC didn't see .M3U and .PLS files located on FTP and Google Drive

I'm noticed that VLC[v3.2.0(334) on iPhone 6(iOS v12.4.1)] can successfully shows uploaded .VLC playlist files from FTP but can't shows .M3U and .PLS files, is it intention or bug?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
