audio issue while adjusting playback speed.

The audio in the video becomes muted or doesn't seem to play when the playback speed is set to equal or more than 4. I guess it is intentional right?

If not then this might be due to technical limitations of either the video player i.e. vlc or hardware, encoding issue of the video but I have tried with several other videos as well.
