VLC IOS - Audio settings - Default Preamp Level does not apply. It stays at +12db.

On iPad Pro 11” M1, VLC IOS 3.4.0 (issue existed on previous versions) VLC IOS - Audio settings - Default Preamp Level does not apply. It stays at +12db even if I select 0db or -6db. Killing app, restarting iPad Pro 11” M1 changes nothing.
