Video disappears when playing multiple videos in a row

When playing multiple videos in a row (regardless whether stored locally on device or remotely from a share), the screen will be black after the first video finishes and the video will reappear only when minimising the player and going back to fullscreen.

Additionally, the position slider is no longer being updated. The title and the text fields for duration / position are correctly updated though and controlling the playback position with the slider works.
