Allow "Sharing via Wi-Fi" with Ethernet connection

Feature request. The Sharing via Wi-Fi feature may be enabled when a Wi-Fi connection is available. It would also useful to allow the feature to be enabled when an Ethernet connection is available. I can't toggle the option enabled currently.

It seems many apps treat an Ethernet connection as being equivalent to a Wi-Fi connection, and make no distinction between the two types of LAN connection.

I can understand the opposing point of view that the clue is in the name i.e. Ethernet != Wi-Fi. However it seems many people conflate the concept of Wi-Fi with their home broadband anyway.
