Video restarts when exiting I'm tvOS remote playback

Hello,

I send .mkv videos to my apple tv (using latest tvOS and latest version of VLC) via Remote Playback so I can watch them.

I noticed that if watching the video and I exit VLC then it will forget at what time I exited and it will require to restart watching from the begging. Is it possible to have it store at what time I exited the video so it can resume from where I left off?
