Dropbox: Add descriptive string since an empty folder isn't necessarily empty, it just doesn't include something we can play

further simplify our in-app settings implementation and solve the remaining issue with the subtitle encoding setting (close #8679)

additionally, add a header to collect the string constants used to provide the settings within the app

menu: get rid of the http server info button and show the address to upload stuff directly in a label
