SMB authentication requested on subdirectories and files

Hi there,

I have a Synology NAS, and I access my media files from my android TV and my tablet through a SMB shared directory.

I have a strange behaviour on VLC 2.0.6 (latest available on Play Store) sine I reinstall it after a problem on my tablet: every time I change of directory, I am requested for the username/password... It worked fine before, but I don't know if it matches a VLC ungrade.

One other issue : since I've installed it on my TV (actually on my internet box), whenever I type the uername/password, it briefly shows the message 'empty directory' (don't know the exact message in English, mine is in French), then it goes back to the username/password window... althoug the directory is not empty (and the credentials are correctly keyed). I had to install the proprietary app (DS Video) to access the files and to use VLC a an external renderer to use it, it's a shame...

Any ideas?
