Is vlc hash correct ?

After updating hash I can't build the vlc. I got this error :

VLC source found
fatal: Not a valid object name bb9c83f

*** Error: Your vlc checkout does not contain the latest tested commit: bb9c83f

This happens even after I pull.

I tried cloning vlc again but git show bb9c83f returns

fatal: ambiguous argument 'bb9c83f': unknown revision or path not in the working tree.
