Resume Playback starts video paused after normal video completion

Description

OP: https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=166377

When a video is played entirely through to its natural end in VLC for Android, subsequently using the "Resume Playback" function causes the video player to open with the video paused, rather than starting playback automatically.

Expected behavior

After tapping the "Resume Playback" button, the video player screen should open, and the video should start playing automatically from the beginning without requiring an additional tap on the play button.

Actual behavior

The video player screen opens, showing the start (or possibly end frame) of the video, but the video is in a paused state. The play icon is displayed, and the user must tap it again to initiate playback.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open VLC for Android.
  2. Select any video file.
  3. Play the video and allow it to finish playing completely on its own. Do not manually stop or pause it.
  4. Wait for playback to end and return to the previous screen (like the video list).
  5. Tap the "Resume Playback" button .
