VLC 3.5.4 won't discover media from my SD card
Description
I moved my SD card containing among other things ~55GiB/10,000 audio files from my Xperia XZ (Android 9) to my Xperia 1 V (Android 13). VLC scans the selected directory tree and can be seen to be walking through all the directories but once finished no media is discovered.
Other apps can see and play media as expected.
Expected behavior
Media can be seen under Albums/Artists/Tracks or Browse
Actual behavior
No media shows up anywhere at all. All directories appear empty.
