feature request (VLC for Android): really close VLC when whiped off the screen

When I am using VLC for Android (v. 3.5.4) and I want to close it, whiping it out of the screen will not close it, but only close the GUI. Instead VLC continues playing and must be stopped in and whiped off the messages (?) list. I can see no logical reason for this behavior, so why not change it to standard behavior, that is stop and close the application when whiped off the screen.
