Network shares lost after first load

On Amazon Fire Tablet when playing videos on a network drive, one plays but after that the connection to the drive is lost, and error advising multiple media cannot be played and the only way to get it to work is force restart app in settings.

Worked perfectly fine yesterday before the update today.
