No album cover in "ALBUMS" view

Each album is stored on my device in dedicated directory such as /storage/sdcard0/Music/Playlists/{Album}. Inside each directory, there is an image in format jpg of the album cover. Before version 2.1.0, "ALBUMS" view was showing the album cover. Since version 2.1.0, there is no cover displayed anymore. The cover is only displayed if the picture is embedded inside the audio file.

Also, while the option is checked, there is also no media cover on lockscreen.

Having a look at log file, one can see:
