VPC on Chromecast TV - Audio not working or passing through

Description

When playing a video sometimes the first video will stream the audio and and the next movie will stop playing audio. streaming from network SMB at home It is a mix between MP4 and MKV files Used to work perfectly

Expected behavior

Play video and audio while streaming from SMB on Chromecast TV dongle

Actual behavior

Streaming from SMB on Chromecast TV dongle Playing video non-issue Playing audio randomly works on first file and the stops for the rest

Steps to reproduce

1. Access SMB from VLC on Chromecast TV
2. Navigate to first video and play
3. Can see and hear video
4. Stop first first and navigate to 2nd video
5. Video playback works
6. Audio playback no longer works
7. Exiting the SMB navigation and coming back in resolves it for the first video
8. Next video audio stops working again

Context

Unsure if this is a VLC issue or a Chromecast TV issue Everything works fine fine on my Samsung S9+ phone and I have the same version 3.5.3
