VLC for Android fails to read audio from SD cards

Description

Since the version 3.5.2, VLC is failing to read mp3 files from any SD card. I observed this problem on two Samsung Galaxy phones: S8+ and A53. VLC triggers a recurrent message saying (in French): Plusieurs médias ne peuvent être lu. It eventually displayed "null" in the mini reader This problem was not present in the previous versions. Note: I keep my apps up-to-date.
