Random start of paused videos
Description
First time for me reporting a bug here. So please let me know, if I do it the wrong way or if more detail is required. :)
When I stop a video in VLC for Android it sometimes starts when it shouldn't.
Expected behavior
Video pauses and remains paused.
Actual behavior
Video starts after being paused.
Steps to reproduce
There are different cases in which this might happen:
- Reproducible: pause video -> menu - bookmarks -> + (add bookmark) -> rename bookmark -> type something When doing so, at some point the video starts playing (in most cases 2-3 seconds after clicking on the three dots to rename/delete a bookmark but in some cases it starts before. This is the case for both the internal speakers and bluetooth headphones. Also when typing anything it will reliably start. This is only reproducible with (bluetooth) headphones because I need them in order to stop the video without closing the menu. But most likely the bug itself does not depend on whether or not the headphones are connected.
- Also reproducible: stop video -> menu - Video information By doing so the video will start again after a short moment and it is not possible to stop the video permanently. Means, it starts again and again...
- May or may not be the same problem: When switching to another app and then back to vlc sometimesthe video starts for a second or so.
- Not really reproducible, but really annoying: Random start of paused video. Sometimes immediately after clicking the pause button, sometimes for example after 15 seconds.
edit: It seems to have something to do with hardware acceleration. When I change from "Automatic" to "Disabled" everything works fine.
