SMB always asking credentials

Description

Expected behavior

Fill the smb login menu (smb with credentials, not anonymous), open the directory, open a video file and play it.

Actual behavior

I fill the login menu and it shows the files in the directory. Then when I try to play a video it asks the credentials again but does nothing and keeps asking for them forever. Sometimes it can even show the directory and keeps asking for credentials.

I've double checked if the user password are correct and I can access it in vlc under Linux.

Steps to reproduce

Have a SMB server with login credentials
Open the Local network menu
Open the SMB server
Fill the user and password
Try to navigate
