VLC 3.5 does not sort files on DLNA server properly

VLC 3.5 does not correctly sort by filename on my DLNA server.

Description

I use minidlna 1.2.1 on Ubuntu 20.04 to serve up a bunch of music. I have a folder marked as a favourite in VLC. I have a file in this folder named so that it sorts to the top. The file that should be at the top is named 000Weightless.mp3.

Note that I reported this (in less detail) to android-support@videolan.org and apparently it is being tracked as 30680 but I cannot find this anywhere so I am filing this again from the website.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the app
  2. Click on the folder
  3. Click play (plays the first file)

Expected behavior

000Weightless sorts to the top, and so plays.

Actual behavior

000Weightless is below many other files. The top file is named 06 Undersea Waltz.mp3.

Context

I upgraded from VLC 3.4.4, which sorted correctly. I am sorting by filename, ascending. I tried sorting by name, and toggling order, but nothing caused VLC 3.5 to sort correctly.
