Video won't cast but reference receiver will

Description

When attempting to stream a video to my chromecast, the TV screen goes to loading and then immediately edits. VLC on android simply stays at the casting screen as if it were casting, though the time doesn't increment.

I've noticed when I use the Google reference receiver (https://github.com/googlecast/CastReceiver) my video streams fine. Thus, my guess is this probably has to do with VLC's receiver.

Unfortunately, VLC for Android isn't providing me with any details of why the stream is failing, and I can't seem to connect the chrome debugger to my Android TV or Chromecast Ultra.

Expected behavior

Video should stream.

Actual behavior

Video exits immediately.

Steps to reproduce

I can reliably reproduce it with my video file, however it's ~3GB. I'm unsure of how to reproduce it with a small test file.
