(3.4.4) VLC (for android) AUTO scans my device whenever I turn my device on & unlock t.

PROVIDE A GENERAL SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE IN THE TITLE ABOVE

Done.

DESCRIPTION

(3.4.4) Technically, this seems like an unwanted function instead of a bug, but it never happened (at least to me) until 3.4.4, & it's very annoying. Anyway, every time that I turn my device on & unlock it, VLC AUTO scans my device for media files! There is ZERO setting (in VLC or in android) to PREVENT this from happening, & it never happened (to me) before 3.4.4.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

I expect VLC to do things ONLY when I START VLC (or if I click on a supported media file, like a video).

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Refer to "Description".

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Device must be off.
  2. Turn device on.
  3. Unlock dvice.

SCREENSHOT / VIDEO

I'm not sure if it's possible to take a screenshot or a video of this particular bug/function, because it happens IMMEDIATELY after I turn on & unlock my device. I'm also not sure if I can get a LOG.CAT file of it (or whatever VLC calls it's debug files), because I think that I have to START VLC to do that, & this particular bug/function happens BEFORE I can start VLC.
